One of the biggest gripes in Fortnite's cosmetic-heavy game is the FOMO of not completing every Battle Pass possible. The top-tier skins are some of the best in the game, but grinding the challenges every single Chapter is sometimes quite a gruelling task.

Many Fortnite Battle Pass skins have come and gone that have been admitted to the archives and will never see the light of day again (RIP Dark Knight),

But, the fear of missing out isn't on your worry list anymore, as Epic Games has revealed Battle Pass skins will be coming to the store.

Fortnite announce Battle Pass skins are coming to the store

Epic Games has revealed that as of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3, any skins in the Battle Pass will now be eligible to also be released in the store.

The Battle Pass skins will only be available in-store after at least 18 months from when the pass ends, giving you another chance to net your favourite outfits down the line.

"One reason for this change is that we want players down the road to enjoy Battle Pass content such as Outfits based on popular licensed characters," Epic said in a Blog post.

Fans have immediately applauded this decision, despite some minor fears of the Battle Pass' significance moving forward.

"W for licensed IP skins like Marvel & DC. To be a fan of a game/movie and never be able to get a skin again was unfortunate. Great change there!" said Fortnite creator Nicholas "Nick Eh 30" Amyoony.

Ali "SypherPK" Hassan said, "This is a win for everyone. I’m saying that as someone who has every battle pass. Let people get their favourite cosmetics."

"ONE OF THE BEST DECISIONS YOU'VE MADE, WELL DONE FORTNITE," added popular leaguer JorgeMost.

The Catch...

There is a snag... All of the Battle Passes gone by are not included in this, meaning that the likes of Midas, Spider-Man (C3: S1), Mizuki, and the OG queen Renegade Raider will not be coming back.

Still, there remains value in the Battle Pass.

"You get over 30,000 VBucks worth for just 950 plus 18 months early," pointed out another fan. "Then when it comes to the shop after nearly a 2-year wait it'll cost full price for every single individual item. Battle Passes are still worth it and mean anyone can get items and collabs in the future."

The Blog post does explain that not every single item will be added to the store, meaning you might not get all of the emotes that you miss out on, but it's likely the biggest collabs and Tier 100 skins will be re-released.
