Fortnite could be going to the moon in Chapter 5
Fortnite Chapter 4: Season 4 is just days away, with its official launch date stated as 25 August. Despite this, there is still nothing concrete about what the next season may hold for players.

Fortnite Chapter 4: Season 4 is just days away, with its official launch date stated as 25 August. Despite this, there is still nothing concrete about what the next season may hold for players.
While we don't have confirmed information about Season 4 or what could come after, clues that fans have found online suggest that the upcoming season could focus on something to do with the eclipse or blood moon.
Better yet, Chapter 5 might even be taking us to the moon.
Epic may have dropped hints for Season 4 years ago
Epic Games is no strangers to foreshadowing when it comes to Fortnite and online sleuths have pieced together possible hints to Season 4’s content from all the way back in 2021.
Some content creators recently received teaser packages for Season 4 which featured a picture of a blood moon being covered during a lunar eclipse. This image is very similar to the necklace worn by Ronin in the Chapter 3: Season 1 Battle Pass.
The teaser also included the phrase "Thanks - for adding to my collection. Kouji Datura"
The references to the moon link with the Apparatus landmark in the jungle biome as part of the in-game event which will help carry players forward to Season 4. Part of the landmark is a giant telescope pointing towards the sky.
Could the end of Chapter 4 see the world destroyed?
Another season 4 hint comes from Dr. Slone's dialogue, which seems to be suggesting the destruction of the world as we know it.
Leaked by Egyptian_Leaker and reported by FNChiefAko, Dr Slone says: "I've been told, by someone you and I both trust, that we need to get off this island. As soon as we can. I have a plan that might give us a path to escape our enemies for good. It's risky, but it's worth it."
Players have connected the need to get off the island, the giant telescope and the moon teasers and have come to the conclusion that the place they may run to is the moon.
While it might sound far-fetched, all of the clues that Epic Games has dropped suggest that the moon may be the Chapter 5 map location.
