It looks like Crypto has been meddling with the servers again, as a brand-new hack has emerged which is spinning Apex Legends into a frenzy.

Hacking in Apex Legends is not uncommon, and while it doesn't quite come close to other battle royales like Fortnite and Warzone, there is still a rabble of cheaters in the game who are craving to break the rules.

Now, a hack has emerged that is ridiculing Apex Legends lobbies by punishing every person that shoots accurately.

New Apex Legends hack forces players to reload after every shot

Content Creator "gdolphn" has aired a brand-new hack after encountering a cheater in one of their games.

The hack forces players to reload after every accurate shot connected with the cheater. So, if you had 23 bullets in a Gold-mag R99, you'd be forced to reload with 22 left in the mag if you landed a shot.

This makes the hacker almost invincible, as there's nearly no way to kill them with automatic guns because they'll easily be able to out-gun players who cannot shoot back.

New Apex Legends reload hack is crippling players' ammo

While it is still possible to kill these hackers - counters include the Bocek bow, the Kraber, and other well-placed sniper shots - the cheaters will cripple your ammo intake even if they're defeated.

With each reload, the hack also forces the player to drop ammo rounds, even ammo that doesn't apply to the weapon you're firing.

"I was dropping light and then dropping heavy ammo in that clip. I had no heavy guns," added the content creator. Respawn Entertainment has yet to take notice of the hack, with no amendments to its public Trello board that's used to update fans on hot fixes and investigations that are scheduled to go live.

With a little hope, the devs are aware of the hack and will be working hard at getting it fired out of the arena from a Fuse cannon.
