It's hard to believe that we have a year-wide release window for perhaps the biggest game in history, but here we are, getting excited for the upcoming launch of Grand Theft Auto 6. It is finally, officially, happening.

Players are getting much too excited, taking to Reddit and explaining they're willing to take much better care of their physical health to ensure they'll make it to the release date. And now, they're fantasising about the thrills that await them in the game.

Fans wonder what their first move in GTA 6 will be

GTA 6 fans are already wondering what the sandbox of Leonida can offer them when the gates are officially swung open, and they're letting their minds run away with them.

Sharing a post in the GTA subreddit along with a typical GTA image of a man delivering a flying kick to the face of an alligator (that, to be honest, will be our first move in the game), one user asked what's the first thing you'll do when booting up GTA 6. The answers are pretty varied.

Players have suggested that they're most excited to see how extensive the vehicle customisation is after we saw what Los Santos Customs had to offer back in GTA 5. Others are dying to see how the physics react to a proper car crash.

Others are (of course) ready to tour the map and see exactly what the Florida-inspired Leonida has to offer. But, the most mentioned activity is the most predictable one.

Fans can't wait to kill NPCs in GTA 6

Who'd have thought? The presiding message of the post is that players can't wait to mow down NPC characters in their cars - or worse yet, kill them at point-blank range to see how they react.

"Throw a Molotov at a random pedestrian and see how they react, then I will turn on my console and start the game," says one user. We're not going to ask any follow-up questions about that one. "Everything it has to offer, I can't choose!" says another. "Maybe I'll steal a nice car and go to every beach to flatten everyone."

One particularly morbid comment read, "I've never liked to kill NPCs tbh, always found more fun to pop their tires and see them crash and flail around." We can’t say we're surprised, as this is the sort of behaviour that GTA rewards. Don't worry, everyone - your sadism simulator is just around the corner.
