You'd think that GTA Online would have petered out at this point, yet somehow, Rockstar keeps finding ways to engage its players. The online world of Los Santos is too compelling to put down almost a decade after it first graced our consoles, and apparently, Rockstar knows just what to do to keep its inhabitants engaged.

After all, there are only so many times you can pancake civilians in a monster truck before it gets boring. Apparently though, there are still secrets buried in the game that fans haven't been able to uncover until now. And one of them is a list of perks granted to players in specific outfits.

What Are The GTA Online Outfit Perks?

One user in the GTA Online subreddit has come forward with a short list of the perks that players can gain from wearing specific outfits in the game - and they're extras that most fans simply didn't know about. Now we feel stupid for making our characters drippy as all hell.

As it turns out, wearing a pilot suit in the game gives players a new real-time display of altitude and airspeed when they're playing the game in first-person mode, likely giving gamers a serious boost in ability when flying jets in the mode.

Plus, wearing a Scuba suit gives players unlimited oxygen when swimming, and offers them a flashlight to help them find their way around the ocean floor. If it's survivability you're looking for, then there are a couple of outfits for you. The biker suits will help you to survive 90% of fatal bike crashes while taking only 5% of your health in cases that would regularly kill you. The Heavy outfit might make you slower, but it'll give you a health boost during heists.#

Are There More Outfit Perks?

Though the list is incredibly useful, there's one trick that wasn't touched upon in the post, and a user in the comments has revealed a way to skip the snacking animation when players need to buff their health in trouble. "Although it's not an outfit and it's not particularly useful anymore," says commenter DyLaNzZpRo, "the rebreather (or anything that covers your mouth/ face) skips the snack animation."

These hints are pretty useful, and for the most part, unknown. Next time you're heading to the wardrobe, you might want to think a little more carefully about your outfit choice. if you're a little accident-prone on the back of a bike, then at least Reddit has you covered.
