When VALORANT esports first came to fruition, Guild Esports had just landed in esports and identified the new FPS shooter as a title they fancied conquering. In a nordic fashion, Guild Esports sailed in pick-up team 'Bonk', who arrived in their announcement on a longboat with captain Yacine "Yacine" Laghmari with an oar in hand.

Now, as VALORANT esports looks to Europe to expand their female scene, Guild has become one of the first organisations in the region to pick up a roster with the acquisition of Project X.

Much like Game of Thrones' Danyreas Targaryen, the roster has landed on Guild's shores with a conquering of the VCT Game Changers Series in mind, before breaking the wheel and competing alongside their male counterparts.

The "Guild X" roster consists of a predominantly European line-up, with the exception of American IGL Klaudia "klaudia" Beczkiewicz. Yagmur "Smurfette" Gunduz, Vivian "roxi" Schilling, Anastasia "Glance" Anisimova, and Sophia "Kim" Benfakir round off the roster with a quartet of European nationalities between them.

Previously, Project X competed in a range of minor tournaments such as the "Huntress Trials" and the "Women in Games - community Cup", both of which they won in May and September respectively.

The squad will now look to continue their winning form in the VCT Game changers series on October 27, the first of a triple-header for women VALORANT.

After joining Guild, Cinnamon said, "When we started looking for an organisation to join we wanted somewhere that took us and our development as competitors seriously. Guild gave us total reassurance on that, and that we would be able to create a legacy here."

"We are so excited about Guild’s commitment not just to us but to the future of the VALORANT esports scene and plans to inspire more and more gamers to join it through their Academy.”

Guild X is one of very few VALORANT rosters in Europe signed to an organisation, with Rix.GG Lightning being the most recognisable in the region.

The VCT Game Changers Series in NA saw the likes of Cloud9 White come to the forefront of VALORANT Esports, winning both series so far.
