The Halo series has been controversial for a lot of reasons. First, it was revealed that the iconic Master Chief would be removing his helmet, which is enough to make Halo fans fly into a rage - but he takes his helmet off in the show a lot, and fans are deeply unimpressed.
The visual changes to Cortana also upset a lot of die-hards, and combined with the fact that the Halo showrunners didn't use the games as a point of reference for the show, Halo has become very controversial very quickly. But, it seems that all is forgotten for now - because, finally, Master Chief is getting some.
Master Chief Pulls In The Halo Series
In the eighth episode of Paramount+'s Halo series, the writers take the controversy around the adaptation to new heights by giving John-117 the chance to bonk on-screen.
Previous weeks have seen ripe discussion, as Master Chief gets his whole butt out, but now, he's finally taken the plunge and bumped uglies on television screens across the world.
The scene in question is actually pretty tame as far as sex scenes go (Game of Thrones, it is not), but this is the first time that Master Chief in any canon has actually gotten some. Good for him.
Fans React To Master Chief's Nookie
Fans have reacted online to Master Chief finally getting his leg over, and they can't quite make their minds up about whether it's egregious or hilarious.
It's certainly a compelling decision to make, especially as in the games and the wider Halo lore, Master Chief is chemically castrated along with the other Spartans - but hell, at least it's taking risks.
Listening to the nerds when it comes to writing a television show isn't often a good idea, but there's every chance that this is a step too far. Who had Master Chief getting busy between the sheets on their 2022 bingo card?

Playing Halo 2 in third-person makes it better than ever
When you think of Halo you most likely categorise it as a first-person shooter, which makes sense since that is exactly what it is. At least, it was until modders shone a whole new light on Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2, allowing players to experience Halo in the third person.
