Apex LegendsDressed to Kill Collection Event introduced an exciting array of additions, including the Armed & Dangerous LTM, free rewards, and (of course) countless fresh cosmetics.

Despite this, it was Horizon's new Gravity Maw Heirloom that received the most attention thanks to the item's astounding design and appearance. As always, the Heirloom has its fair share of incredible interactions and a set of super rare animations that only appear occasionally.

Now, a secret melee animation has been discovered for Horizon's Heirloom, and it's got fans of the Gravitational Manipulator extremely excited.

Secret Horizon Heirloom melee animation discovered

As showcased by popular Apex Legends YouTuber Grrt, Horizon's Gravity Maw Heirloom does have a rare melee animation.

After spending a long time punching in the Firing Range, they finally got it to appear. Instead of using her Gravity Maw to bonk a foe, she pulls out her pen to stab an opponent. The interaction doesn't last very long and involves her clicking down the end of the pen while thrusting it towards a foe.

While this isn't as flashy as some of her other animations, it's extremely rare, which makes it even more special when it finally appears in-game.

How to unlock Horizon Heirloom in Apex Legends

Horizon Heirloom

If you're keen on getting your hands on the Horizon Heirloom, you'll need to collect all 24 cosmetics in the Dressed to Kill Collection Event before it ends on July 4, 2023.

Alternatively, after the event has finished, you can use Heirloom Shards to unlock the mythic item the standard way.

Remember, you're guaranteed Heirloom Shards after opening a total of 500 packs, so make sure to track the number you have collected.
