Aside from Hidetaka Miyazaki himself, it's fair to say that Kai Cenat is the undisputed Elden Beast of FromSoftware games. The content creator has made a name for himself as the slayer of Soulsborne games, having polished off Elden Ring and its Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.
By now, Elden Ring likely looks like a walk in the park for Cenat, who is destined to continue his Soulsborne marathon. Having already spent hundreds of hours in FromSoftware's sandbox, he's got a fair grasp on the developer's work, however, it seems he might have a favourite.
Kai Cenat champions Bloodborne remaster
It's no secret that fans love Bloodborne, with the 2015 gothic Soulsborne taking us to the decaying realm of Yharnam for its own take on vampires. While many games since have been given the remaster treatment, Bloodborne sadly remains untouched, gathering dust on the PlayStation 4.
Cenat is currently in the midst of his Bloodborne marathon, and when one fan asked if he could somehow get FromSoft to give us a remaster or long-rumoured PC port, Cenat said, "I don't think I have the power to do that, but I definitely have the power to bring attention to a topic within the Souls community."
Bigging up his own Soulsborne prowess, the streamer added, "I feel like the developers have watched my every move when it came to me playing these games. So the least that I can do is try to push the narrative for something to happen."
Of course, it's not just FromSoftware's decision, with Sony holding the keys to the kingdom. "PlayStation, FromSoft, this is one of the most highly-requested games for a remaster and a PC version," said Cenat. "I haven't even touched it. Just from me entering this community, I want to go ahead and be like 'Hey, can you please do something.'"
It seems like we're hit with some sort of Bloodborne remaster rumour every month, and barely a PlayStation showcase goes by without Bloodborne trending. We've equally heard a lot about a mythical PC port that's never arrived but just imagine the modding potential.
Miyazaki himself recently spoke about a PC port and said he'd love for more fans to play the PlayStation exclusive. Sadly, it'll take more than the dreams of us, Cenat, and Miyazaki to make a return to Yharnam happen. If only Sony knew what it was sleeping on.
