Blimey, Elden Ring is out this week. It's been a long time coming, right? It feels like only yesterday that we were clamouring for leaks and rumours to give us a peek behind the curtain of what could be the biggest fantasy title of the console generation, and finally, it's coming so soon we can taste it.
It's a very big deal, not just for FromSoftware and their punishing brand of gameplay, but for the genre at large, and Elden Ring could truly be the biggest game of the year. No pressure, then. Fans are already desperate to get their hands on the game, festering in the Elden Ring subreddit - but luckily, those on PC might be getting a headstart.
Elden Ring Will Launch On PC First
For the most serious among you Elden Ring fans, if you're on PC, then you're in luck - it looks like you'll have the opportunity to jump in before everyone else. In a tweet from the official Elden Ring Twitter account, the team revealed the official release schedule for the game, and it has revealed that players on PC are for the most part, getting it before their console counterparts.
Over in the US, Elden Ring will swing open its gates to players at 21:00 PT, but it'll be a whole 6 hours early for players on PC at 15:00 PT. It's a great chance for the most dedicated among the Elden Ring fanbase (which, frankly, makes up most of them) to dive in even before they expected to.
What Time Is Elden Ring Launching In The UK?
As you might expect anyway, Elden Ring will be launching in the UK on console at midnight on February 25, meaning you'll have all of Friday to play it if you had the foresight to take the day off work. However, it's not the same for PC.
Luckily for you lot who opt to play with keyboard and mouse, Elden Ring will be launching on PC in the UK an hour early, dropping at 23:00. The game will be all yours from then, and you can poke around in the extensive world all you like.
Elden Ring is a monster hype machine, and it's no surprise that fans are clamouring to get their hands on it. And if you're on PC, get ready - because you're going to be getting it earlier than everyone else. You'll have an hour window to flex about it online, so enjoy it.
