There's been a recent boom in gaming-themed LEGO sets, and to be honest, we're here for it. Seeing a million different Mario sets has got a little boring, but as the likes of Sonic the Hedgehog and Minecraft have joined the party, things have really started to 'click'.
Everything from Animal Crossing to Zelda have been given their own adorable sets, while Horizon and Fortnite have celebrated with their own video game versions. Considering LEGO is the most valuable toy brand in the world, this partnership is only expected to grow as our video game obsession continues.
BioShock LEGO would be a must-buy

Over on the BioShock Reddit, u/Clear-Outside-2238 suggested the Danish toy giant 'take note' and create a Rapture set. Looking at the success of the recent Batman: The Animated Series Gotham City and its jaw-dropping $300/£260 price tag, LEGO could earn a fortune by recreating this underwater nightmare.
2K Boston first took us down into the murky depths of Rapture in 2007, with 2010's BioShock 2 returning to a post-Andrew Ryan world. Although 2013's BioShock Infinite soared high to the city of Columbia, Rapture's rich ecosystem and colourful cast of characters instantly made it one of the most iconic gaming locales of all time.
A quick scan of the internet shows others have tried their own hand at building Rapture in brick form, with Imagine Rigney's Flickr boasting a jaw-dropping build that honours BioShock: The Collection. You can submit sets on LEGO Ideas, and they can get voted into production, but at the time of writing, there are no BioShock ideas listed.
Others agreed they'd love a LEGO Rapture but admitted there might be a problem. LEGO is known for its family-friendly aesthetic, which is why we don't have many sets aimed at adults. Still, with everything from Jaws to The Office making it onto shelves, BioShock wouldn't be impossible.
BioShock 4 was finally announced back in 2019, but without so much as a piece of concept art to tide us over, it's in danger of being overshadowed by OG BioShock Director Ken Levine and his spiritual successor, Judas. If you want to remind us all why we love BioShock, a LEGO set would sell like hot cakes.
