In Apex Legends, there are five total battle royale maps that Respawn alternates in and out of rotation for players to battle across.

These include Kings Canyon, World's Edge, Olympus, Storm Point, and the latest map, Broken Moon. While all of these locations have their strengths and weaknesses, there's no denying that some are more popular than others.

Well, if there's one Apex pro that's never afraid to be vocal with their opinion, it's Philip "ImperialHal" Dosen, and the TSM IGL has revealed his favourite map in Season 17.

ImperialHal argues Storm Point is best Apex Legends map

During a recent stream, ImperialHal was asked what he believes is the best map in Apex Legends, choosing the one that he enjoys playing most. The TSM pro responded that for him, Storm Point is his favourite map due to the size of the location.

According to ImperialHal, its chonky size means he's less likely to get third-partied. Hal added that he just loves running around and taking as many gunfights as possible, with Storm Point being the best for that.

That's not to say ImperialHal isn't partial to other Apex Legends maps, also mentioning that he likes World's Edge. For him though, Storm Point takes the crown at the number one spot.

Will there be a new Apex Legends map soon?

Apex Legends Olympus

At the moment, it's impossible to know whether a new Apex Legends map will be arriving soon. Given that Broken Moon was added in Season 15 and new maps are spaced out at an average of every four seasons, we guess we'll be waiting a while for the next one.

Creating a new map is a massive undertaking, and it's likely a leak would have at least hinted one is coming if the devs had plans to release one in Season 18. At the moment, data mines point towards a Revenant rework and a new Legend called Conduit.

For now, the Apex Legends community will have to keep their eyes peeled and hope Respawn has something in the works for Season 19 or 20.
