Respawn Entertainment set up barriers in an attempt to stop cheaters in Apex Legends, but inevitably some slip through the cracks.

Whether you're a seasoned veteran of the Outlands, a mechanical god, or even a pro player, it's unbelievably hard to take down an opponent with an aimbot.

However, while it may rely on a mistake from the hacker, it isn't an impossible task as showcased by TSM star Philip "ImperialHal" Dosen.

The IGL ran into an aim botting and teleporting cheater in Ranked, and while he had slim chances of taking them down, the CEO and his squad still managed to pull it off.

During a recent Ranked session on stream, ImperialHal ran into a cheater called Destroyer2009, who didn't hide the fact they were using an aimbot and teleports.

Piloting Rampart, the hacker was locking onto players with ease and pulling out Shiela to one-shot any foes in their path.

Hal was unfortunately even taken out by the hacker, giving him the chance to spectate the bad actor who had already racked up 14 kills before the second ring had closed. Luckily, Hal's team were able to respawn the CEO after escaping the wrath of Destroyer2009, and that's when they got revenge.

Waiting on top of a building in the endgame, Hal and his squad knew they stood no chance against the hacker in a face-to-face duel. They needed the cheater to be caught off-guard and walk into a trap where they had the upper hand.

Well, after holding a power position for long enough on the high ground, Destroyer2009 decided to take a zipline straight into the arms of Hal and his allies. The trio burst the hacker down instantly, wiping him out of the game.

"Let's go! Get s**t on... bro out of all the things he could have done he did that." It's always great to see a hacker get what they deserve and have to crawl back to the menus. Let's hope Destroyer2009 gets a ban as soon as possible before they can ruin any more matches.
