Activision's monopoly over the microtransactions game might have suffered in recent weeks with the announcement that all Warzone skins won't transfer over to the sequel that is set to come out in early 2023. However, that hasn't stopped them from getting up to their mischievous ways in Season 4, as fans have now claimed that one "pay-to-win" skin has ruined the game.

The developers have often come under fire for their bundle-exclusive skins that appear to give players added benefits in Warzone, stemming from "Roze" back in the original Verdansk days.

Having been available at Tier 100 of the Battle Pass, Roze was dubbed as "invisible" due to her shadowy nature that blended into the dark. Despite being nerfed, the skin was then replaced by a predecessor called "Special Ops", exclusive to Cold War's Portnova, and labelled as "Roze 2.0". Now, a new variant of invisible operator skins has become available and Roze 3.0 has been unearthed.

New Invisible Warzone Skin Dubbed As Roze 3.0

Roze has been notorious for lurking in the dark and using her all-black outfit to remain almost invisible to the eye. Having faced incessant backlash, the developers have shown no remorse with their latest Season 4 bundle, "Violet Stealth", which has certainly lived up to its namesake.

The fully-black skin tapered with a measly purple neon light (which is barely visible in-game), has entered the Warzone and Vanguard stores and has instantly caused mayhem. One video has already surfaced of the skin appearing to be completely invisible in the shadows, and fans are furious.

The clip shows the Special Ops skin from the Violet Stealth bundle jumping into a tower on Fortune's Keep before completely disappearing, only to be revealed on the floor by their flying bombardment of bullets.

Fans Fume At New Pay-To-Win Warzone Skin

"Love how they keep nerfing the Rose skin like it’s still a problem and letting other skinny dark invisible man camos go by as unfair as ever," the first comment reads on the Reddit thread, which echoes the sentiment of most people's opinions on the dreaded invisible Warzone skin.

The skin currently costs 2,400 COD Points in the store, and while it won't be transferring over to Warzone 2, the sweats are lapping it up to get an edge over their opponents in the final months of the game's lifeline.

With yet another Roze-like skin on the cards that will play favourably for Fortune's Keep's dark alleyways and dimly lit buildings, you might want to crank your brightness settings up to the max.
