Elden Ring has been blowing up the video game world for months now, but now that it's finally out in the world and FromSoftware fans can get their mitts on what is its biggest adventure yet, it's only gotten bigger. And apparently... tastier.
Proving itself as the grandest outing for the developer yet, huge critical love, and a wealth of dedicated fans who believed the hype and were still impressed, it's clear that Elden Ring is the OP gaming deal of the year so far, and could yet define the entire console generation.
Trolli Reveals New Elden Ring Sweets
There's one world left for Elden Ring to conquer - and that's the confectionary one. Luckily for us, FromSoftware has come through. Kind of. As it turns out, the Elden Ring is real, and comes in packs with many other entirely edible Elden Rings. Who knew?
To celebrate the release of the game, confectionary company Trolli has created limited-edition bags of Sweet Peachie Elden Rings. They were revealed on Twitter by the official Trolli account, insisting that they'd be devouring them "with great speed." The bag looks great, with the Tarnished themselves impaling one of the peach rings like a kebab - in a much more brutal fashion than would be expected of any other confectionary packaging.
Where Can I Get The Edible Elden Rings?
Well, that's the sad thing. In response to a fan on Twitter, Trolli confirmed that the Elden Rings wouldn't be available for sale, anywhere. Sob. The sweets are mere promotional items, with some being sent to influencers like Geoff Keighley for competitions. So, unless you're one of the incredibly lucky few to win a competition, you're out of luck.
Some we furious at this viral ad, with one angry fan writing: "Dnt even advertise for this then. This “only giving product to influencers” culture needs to end. I would’ve loved to buy a few bags of these. Now probably not going to buy trolli for a while."
Though they're not fully available to everyone, at least we know these edible Elden Rings are out there, somewhere. Maybe we didn't have to make it all the way to the Land Between after all. Just when you thought sex toy enemies were the weirdest bit of Elden Ring lore you'd find out there, how bout trying to chow down on the titular artefact?
