Though maybe not the most immersive of gaming experiences, the Jackbox game is an unmatched party riot.
The Jackbox Party Pack has been going for years now, releasing new packs every now and then stuffed to bursting with interactive games that party-goers can connect to with their phones and practically engage in a grown-up Kahoot that tests their abilities as artists and comedians.
This year is no different and is turning out a brand-new pack for players to jump into - and it has finally had its games revealed.
Jackbox Reveals The Five Games Coming To Party Pack 9
In a new blog post on the Jackbox Games website, the team has revealed the games coming to the new party pack, and it features a classic coming back for a fourth instalment.
Fibbage is making a return for its fourth edition, and it's coming with new games Quixort, Junktopia, Nonsensory and Roomerang.
According to the post, here's all we can expect from the games:
"Fibbage 4 (2-8 players) – The hilarious bluffing party game returns with an all new Final Fibbage, themed episodes, video questions, fan-submitted questions, and Fibbage Enough About You mode! It’s a game so beloved that we decided to slap a 4 on it.
"Quixort (1-10 players) – In this trivia sorting factory, work with your team to sort falling answers into their proper order before they hit the floor! Or, play the single player mode and see how many blocks you can sort before topping out. It’s as easy as A, C, B!
"Junktopia (3-8 players) – A strange wizard has turned you into a frog! Create hilarious backstories for weird objects and then get them appraised by your fellow players. More votes equals more value and then poof! You’re a human again!
"Nonsensory (3-8 players) – Professor Nanners is here to test your NSP (Nonsensory Perception) in this drawing, writing, and guessing game! How close can you get to guessing where another player’s prompt ranks on the silliest of scales?
"Roomerang (4-9 players) – Channel your inner reality TV star in an attempt to come out on top of your fellow players! Respond to prompts, bring the competition and role-play to avoid being voted out. Never fear though, even when you’re out you’ll find yourself Roomerang-ed right back into the drama!"
When Is Jackbox Party Pack 9 Coming Out?
The blog post gives us an indication as to when we can expect the Party Pack to launch, but we don't have an actual date just yet - only a window.
"Our game teams are still putting the finishing touches on these sweet, sweet party games for you. You can expect The Jackbox Party Pack 9 to be released on major platforms this fall," reads the post.
At least the games will be here by the end of the year, and we can nestle in with our pals making jokes at their expense. We're ready to be really, really funny.
