Manchester United fans have been left angered by Jadon Sancho again as the outcasted winger was captured playing EA FC 24 instead of watching their match against Bayern Munich.

It must be pretty cool to be able to play as yourself in EA FC 24, and for professional footballers, the new annual releases are a chance to see if their card has made it into the meta or whether its another season where the stats aren't living up to individual performances.

An abundance of professional footballers have a good connection with the gaming series, with many having backed esports teams or even competed in events on behalf of their teams.

But Manchester United's most recent outcast Jadon Sancho has been placed under scrutiny for his EA FC 24 grind already, as the winger has been spotted getting to grips with the game while his parent club were preparing for their first Champions League fixture of the season.

Sancho spotted playing EA FC 24 instead of watching Manchester United

Having been removed from the Manchester United squad on sabbatical, following a fallout with manager Erik Ten Haag, Sancho was found to have been hands-on with EA FC 24's game modes last night, just moments before his teammates took to the pitch against Bayern Munich.

EA FC 24 launched yesterday with streamers and special guests being able to play early, and eagle-eyed supporters found Sancho playing with a content creator and England teammate Tammy Abraham.

Sancho has been heavily criticised by Manchester United boss Ten Haag, and by fans, for his attitude towards the club in recent weeks, and this latest saga has added fuel to the fire as the Red Devils suffered defeat at the hands of Harry Kane and the Bayern squad..

The troubled left-winger was also found to be playing on EA FC 24 Ultimate Team throughout the night, as Sanch_x10's opponents quickly uploaded pictures of their scorelines.

Real-life footballers are smashing EA FC 24 Ultimate Team

Sancho wasn't the only footballer to be enjoying EA FC 24's launch though, as Liverpool forward Diogo Jota has already been putting in quite a shift on Ultimate Team.

Jota, who has always been an advocate of the gaming series, has already played a massive number of games on the fantasy card-picking game mode, as fans spotted that he'd worked up over 13,000 coins solely through playing games.

Considering that players will get roughly 400-500 coins per game, hitting 13,000 already appears to be quite the feat.

Somewhat fortunately though, Jota could take full advantage of some Wednesday night gaming though, as Liverpool will be competing on Thursdays in the Europa League, leaving him out of the controversy, unlike Sancho.
