When it comes to famous cosplayers, Jessica Nigri is up there with the best of them. She has transformed into everyone from Pyramid Head to Princess Zelda, but one of the best she's ever done (and that's saying something) has to be Moxxi from Borderlands.
What Does The Moxxi From Borderlands Cosplay Look Like?
Jessica Nigri is famous for making her costumes almost entirely herself, and this one is no exception. She states in the caption that she made everything, which would include the corset, hat, and impressive jacket.
The four images she shared (which gained over 180,000 likes at the time of writing), show off the full outfit, as well as a brilliant background that captures the essence of Moxxi's character. She runs all of the drinking establishments in later games, after all.
What Have Fans Said About The Moxxi Borderlands Cosplay?
Well with that many likes, there were hundreds of comments complimenting Jessica for the time and effort that went into her outfit. One Instagram user wrote: "Hasnt been until playing #borderland2 that ive come to respect the time and effort put into the Madame Moxxi shoot. Kudos and well done for captiring the look and feel Pandora's best Barwoman".
Another added: "Omg that is the perfect cosplay photo."
However, any fans who are hoping to see Jessica being cast for the new Borderlands movie will be left disappointed, as it was recently announced that Gina Gershon (aka Lieutenant Melanie Hawkins from Brooklyn Nine-Nine) will be playing the ever-popular character when the movie hits the silver screen in 2022. It's currently in post-production, so you'll be seeing it in a cinema near you very soon (hopefully).
