While any weapon is viable in Warzone 2 with a solid build, selecting the guns that are considered overpowered in a meta is the strongest strategy for racking up victories.
Identifying these guns can be tough, as they're not always the most popular choices. So, pick rates can be deceiving. As a result, it's often better to take advice from an expert who has analysed all the stats, and luckily, James "JGOD" Godoy has done exactly that.
In a recent reveal, he showed off why a specific rifle is 'absolutely broken' in Warzone 2 and will probably get nerfed soon, so it's key you make the most of it before it's too late.
Cronen Squall loadout is 'absolutely broken' in Warzone 2
For JGOD, the Cronen Squall Battle rifle is one of the most 'broken' and 'unique' guns in the current meta that you need to be using.

For starters, the WZ2 guru highlights that the full-auto Cronen Squall is 'absolutely' absurd when it comes to its close-range TTK. Taking out foes in 579ms up to 40m, the gun has a similar damage output to a meta SMG when face-to-face with an enemy.
On top of having a devastating full-auto mode, a lot of players are undervaluing the Cronen's single-fire setting. As showcased by JGOD, when using this single-fire mode with a rapid trigger finger, the rifle has almost no recoil. This means you can lock onto targets and take them down in an instant with no kickback at all.
How popular is the Cronen Squall in Warzone 2?
According to WZRanked, the Cronen Squall has a 9.7% pick rate which puts it fifth in the overall rankings in terms of popularity. While this means a lot of the community is using the Battle Rifle, very few are making use of the lethal single-fire mode that boasts no recoil.
With Season 4 on the horizon, it's hard to know how it will be before this weapon gets hit with some major nerfs. Before it's too late, add this hard-hitting option to your loadout list and start dominating the competition.
