Season 4 Reloaded has had a massive impact on the Warzone 2 meta, making guns like the X13 Auto and the Basilisk top-tier options overnight.
While both these secondaries are unmatched in close-range gunfights, picking a weapon for long-distance skirmishes is a little more complicated.
With solid options in the AR, LMG, Marksman Rifle, and Battle Rifle categories, it's hard to choose the best weapon for you.
Well, WZ2 guru James "JGOD" Godoy has revealed the "number one" long-range Warzone 2 loadout for laser-beaming foes from afar.

For JGOD, the "number one" long-range weapon in the Warzone 2 Season 4 Reloaded meta is the Cronen Squall Battle Rifle, and it's easy to see why.
The gun has a brilliant TTK and can wipe out enemies in an instant, especially if you put enough time into completely mastering its recoil pattern.
Not only that, the Cronen has been in the meta before, so players have a level of "comfort" with the gun compared to more niche options.
It's the perfect choice for players looking to carry themselves solo to victory, as it has more than enough firepower to devastate opponents consistently.
How popular is the Cronen Squall in Warzone 2?
According to WZRanked, the Cronen Squall's pick rate has skyrocketed to an unbelievable 19.9%. This means the Battle Rifle is currently sitting second in the overall popularity rankings.
While it currently reigns over the long-range meta, it's hard to know whether the devs will hit the gun with another nerf. Either way, it's a mistake not to have this gun in your loadout list, as its raw firepower is too good to ignore.
