Krampus is back in Warzone with new Urzikstan Easter egg

Krampus has officially returned to Warzone, but not the way you'd expect, through a new Easter egg.

Krampus was as far from an Easter egg as you could ever imagine when he first landed in Call of Duty, more like a rotten egg that was whiffing out every map he loaded in on.

The maniacal Christmas beast epitomised Bah Humbug for Vanguard players as he terrorised the game and even infiltrated Warzone, hunting down squads across Caldera. Literally the worst present we've ever had.

Well, he's back. Kind of. Krampus has been found again in Warzone, but this time he's nowhere near as scary.

Krampus Easter egg found in Warzone

Sledgehammer Games were the developers who first decided Krampus would be a good idea, and now that they're in full control of Call of Duty again this year, they've opted to bring him back to Warzone.

As found by CovertMF, and shared on Twitter, Krampus can be found in Urzikstan around the centre of the map in between Cargo and Old Town.

But instead of being a menace, this Christmas cracker has met his demise, and is buried alive under the rubble of a fallen building.

CovertMF found a stray arm being flailed around in the rubble, and you can interact with the Easter egg, which will start the objective "Krampus is Hunting You", before completing it as the beast seemingly dies.

Where to find the Krampus Easter egg in Warzone Urzikstan

If you head over to the centre of the map, between Cargo and Old Town, and cross the river towards the village, as you climb out onto the rocks just southwest of the corner, you will be able to see Krampus' arm sticking out of the ground.

Krampus won't be terrorising you again this year, and you can get your payback with a heavy C4 detonation on his resting ground.

Maybe this year Sledgehammer might lean into the angry Grinch trend and allow dudes dressed up as a green monster to run through the map and smash you over the head with a Christmas tree.

Or not, some snowballs seem to be enough...
