Lady D Spooks Tom Nook In Resident Evil Village X Animal Crossing Island

A Resident Evil Village and Animal Crossing island is split into the Four Houses of Capcom's game, but hopefully with fewer giant babies crawling around.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons was one of the most popular games of 2020, helping the entire world get through the pandemic. Whether you rushed to pay off your debts to Tom Nook or focused on turning your island into a home away from home, the latest Animal Crossing game was a great escape for many of us and is still one of the most popular Nintendo Switch games today.

Then in 2021, Resident Evil Village was released, the eighth core instalment in the famed horror franchise. Players got hunted down by the enormous, terrifying, but also-strangely-attractive Lady Dimitrescu, escaped the clutches of Heisenberg, and fought back against Mother Miranda.

Village was another stellar entry for the series that continues to go strength-to-strength, but a game that certainly offers less replayability than Animal Crossing, and certainly less wholesomeness. So, what about combining it with the nightmarish world of Resident Evil Village and Nook's money-grabbing paradise?

What Is The Resident Evil Village X Animal Crossing Island?

Over on Reddit, user /u/masabow1018 has created a marvellous spooky island, themed entirely around Resident Evil Village. Four screenshots are posted, showcasing the map and various aspects of their island - which includes the creepy dolls from House Beneviento and Heisenberg's horrifying metal machine.

Speaking of the houses, the island is split up into sections for each of House Dimitrescu, Beneviento, Moreau, and Heisenberg. Their character is even wearing a Lady Dimitrescu skin, but unfortunately, it's not possible to mimic her actual height in Animal Crossing...

While this isn't an official crossover, more and more games have been ported to Nintendo Switch recently, meaning we could well see the latest Resident Evil games, or a scaled-down version of them at least, on the console at some point. After all, Resident Evil 1-6 are all available, plus a few spin-offs.

Until we wait for Lady D to fill the screen on the Switch, we're left playing as a much cuter version of this towering temptress in Animal Crossing
