I always wanted that dictator Tom Nook to wake up in the morning and step on a piece of LEGO.
Now dreams are coming true, as Nintendo and LEGO are coming together to release Animal Crossing sets.
That's right, Animal Crossing's cutest villagers are coming to your house brick by brick, and they don't seem too expensive.
LEGO announces an Animal Crossing collab
Any money that you get for Christmas, you might want to store that in a safe until the springtime, as LEGO is bringing out Animal Crossing pieces.
The esteemed block-on-block makers took to social media to announce the collaboration, although the details of what the sets will include are all rather scarce.
The small trailer did showcase some of Animal Crossing's most-loved characters though, with the likes of Isabelle, Julian, and Deer joining Nook with a new and fresh blockhead look.
What does the LEGO x Animal Crossing collab include?
According to past reports from VGC, there will be five sets available to collectors, with increasing increments of pieces (and prices).
The previous reports suggested that the five sets will vary between $14.99 and $74.00, with the respective pieces totalling to between 170 and 535.
- Set 77046 – $14.99 (170 pieces)
- Set 77047 – $19.99 (164 pieces)
- Set 77048 – $29.99 (233 pieces)
- Set 77049 – $39.99 (389 pieces)
- Set 77050 – $74.99 (535 pieces)
VGC's report also indicated that the Animal Crossing LEGO sets will be released in March 2024.
LEGO has really been upping the ante in 2023, with rumoured Harry Potter games in the works alongside a massive in-game skin launch into Fortnite.
