Few could've expected that LEGO Fortnite was going to be such a shock to the system for Fortnite fans. Even though leaks indicated that it'd stand as a standalone mode rather than just another standard crossover, they didn't really expect anything as massive as we got.
LEGO Fortnite feels nothing like Fortnite, and that's exactly what makes it so special. The chance to build, discover, and survive as your favourite characters (if LEGO-ified) was something that players didn't know they needed.
Their creativity has been impressive, with some players even going so far as to create some of Lord of the Rings’ grandest landmarks. But now, it looks like players aren't done with the gaming world yet - bringing the ultimate crossover between Fortnite and Call of Duty.
Fan recreates Call of Duty's Nuketown in LEGO Fortnite
One player has dedicated themselves to bringing one of the most iconic locations of the CoDverse to life in a new way, and they've done so in pretty impressive fashion in LEGO Fortnite.
Beckoning for a 1v1 on the LEGO Fortnite subreddit, user u/claudesfeet has shared their build that brings the entirety of Nuketown to life in the survival mode of LEGO Fortnite. It's complete with cars and the iconic truck in the centre. The creator claims that there's one car and building yet to complete, but we'd never guess.
Considering how building works in LEGO Fortnite, and that the player is playing in survival, this must have been a titan of a build to undertake in terms of collecting resources alone. Thankfully, it's paid off, as fans are loving it.
Fans react to LEGO Fortnite Nuketown
"This needs way more praise haha," says one user in the comments of the Reddit post. "This is so awesome haha," starts another. "I wanna see Lockout from Halo 2 now!" To be fair to them, given how quickly players are turning around impressive gaming-themed build, it's probably not too far out of the question.
"Alright, who’s making Rust next?" asks a user before the original creator responds, "Let’s see if I have time for it. Should be a fun build tho." As long as they don't try Santa Sena Border Crossing.
It’s charming to see fans rally around the project, especially given how impressive it is. We agree with the comments - we can barely wait to see more of the CoDverse find itself a new home in bricky form.
