Summer Game Fest 2024 opened with a big, first-party title this year, introducing us to an adorable LEGO version of Aloy.

LEGO Horizon Adventures is an isometric adventure title featuring co-op and will arrive on PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch later this year. Xbox players sadly won't get to tackle a LEGO Thunderjaw any time soon it seems.

LEGO Horizon Adventures is real, and very cute

The trailer showcases longtime LEGO character "Hot Dog Guy" being introduced to Aloy and other characters from the popular third-person open-world title, showcasing some platforming and combat as they take on robot dinosaurs big and small.

The game will also incorporate base-building elements with the Mother's Heart settlement, too, and is targeting a Holiday 2024 release date. It's being co-developed by Guerilla and Studio Gobo.

"In a distant future, the land is made of LEGO bricks and incredible dinosaur-like machines roam the Earth", the PlayStation Blog explains.

"Aloy, the game’s leading hero, is found in a cave as a baby and raised by a grizzled huntsman called Rost, who teaches her the way of the wilds. One day, Aloy embarks on a quest to discover her true destiny."

"Guided by a thousand-year-old hologram of a scientist called Elisabet, Aloy must confront Helis, the leader of a group of sun worshipers who bow to an Ancient Evil shrouded in mystery."

"There’s much more in store for Aloy and her friends, as their adventure sends them across the tallest mountains and deepest cauldrons — all beautifully recreated in LEGO elements."

While Xbox has recently committed to bringing some of its titles to PlayStation, notably with Sea of Thieves and Hi-Fi Rush, it appears the feeling isn't mutual from Sony. While LEGO Horizon Adventures will arrive on Switch and PC at the same time as Sony's own console, you won't get Aloy on PC just yet.
