Mizkif Unbans 25k Followers On Twitch And Immediately Regrets It
The Twitch streamer was left red-faced after he realised he had a very good reason to ban 25k followers from his channel.

Hugely popular Twitch streamer Matthew "Mizif" Rinaudo was left immediately regretting his decision to unban 25k of his followers. As a result, he was bombarded with hateful messages as the previously banished viewers slowly returned to his stream.
While the majority of Twitch fans are incredibly supportive of their favourite content creators, some of them can go too far and find themselves being banned from their channel. In doing so, they can continue to watch a streamer's content, but cannot see the live chat or be allowed to comment in it. However, they can be offered an olive branch if they appeal to have their ban revoked, as thousands of followers discovered after Imane "Pokimane" Anys revoked numerous bans during one of her livestreams. However, she was a bit stumped on what to do about one particularly weird appeal.
Similarly, Mizkif decided to be a good Samaritan and unban 25k of his followers. Big mistake, Mizkif. Big. Huge.
Why Did Mizkif Unban 25k Followers?
On February 6, Mizkif was doing a livestream on Twitch when he announced that he had decided to unban 25k of his followers because "everybody deserves to get a second chance, boys." The 26-year-old revealed that he and his team had used two bots in order to revoke the mind-blowing amount of bans.
The move is a complete U-turn on Mizkif's previous decision in December, 2021 in which he decided to put his foot down on 100k Twitch users and ban them from his channel. However, it was clear that the streamer was regretful of his decision and chose to let them return.
But, it wasn't long before he started to regret his choice.

How Did Twitch Users React To Being Unbanned By Mizkif?
Mizkif may have expected to be spammed with "hearts and smiles" for unbanning the wealth of followers, but what he actually did was just unleash hell. Shortly after the ban, the OTK co-creator realised that a newly-unbanned follower had already sent him a hateful message. Then, the floodgates opened as the rest followed suit. Unsurprisingly, Mizkif was left with his face in his hands, filled with instant regret screaming "what have we done?"
Thankfully, Mizkif had installed mods ready to ban the disgruntled fans who didn't have the warmest welcoming messages for Mizkif. Switching from good Samaritan hopefulness to Kratos-style wrath, Mizkif ordered his mods to "keep it up! Any sh*tters that get out right now and talk sh*t. I want you to throw them back in the brig!"
