Modern Warfare 2's era of Call of Duty is well and truly underway, and it's proving to be a real treat for players.

The 2022 shooter's problems aside, it's a refreshing step away from Vanguard and its diminishing playerbase - giving players the same joy they had playing the original Modern Warfare 2 back in the day. And that's one hell of a feat in itself.

As is the case with modern Call of Duty titles, there are bugs and glitches. They're big ones, and a newly discovered sentry gun glitch is making them completely indestructible.

What Is The Modern Warfare 2 Sentry Gun Glitch?

Among the glitches that have already been found in Modern Warfare 2, the latest confirms that players can deploy a sentry gun killstreak underneath the map. It leads to stealthy kills and a sentry gun that simply cannot be seen or destroyed.

The glitch was introduced via a tutorial from YouTube channel ZLine, which details how players can get those sneaky kills. All you have to do is mount a vehicle, prepare to deploy the killstreak, wiggle back and forth until it appears as deployable, and drop the sentry gun through the map.

It's certainly an interesting glitch, and if it isn't patched very soon, it could cause a lot of trouble in lobbies. Basically though, theĀ Modern Warfare 2 sentry gun glitch is a bit like God Mode right now.

Modern Warfare 2 Changes Its Battle Pass

Not only are sentry guns about to take over the meta of the game, but it looks like there's another overhaul in Modern Warfare 2. Since the first Warzone game, we've had a strictly linear battle pass, but that's now changed in favour of a more Fortnite-esque battle pass.

The new battle pass is token-based and gives players more freedom when it comes to the items that they want to unlock. If you want to know more about the battle pass you can learn everything in store here.

The bottom line is, it is an incredibly exciting addition to Call of Duty progression. Shame it won't keep players from dropping invisible sentry guns, though.
