Surprise, surprise, Call of Duty has created another invisible skin and Modern Warfare 2 players are losing their minds.
We all know how much the Call of Duty developers are obsessed with the Roze skin and ghillie suits, so this shouldn't come as too much of a surprise, but Modern Warfare 2 has yet another opaque skin design.
With shadows and grass-themed skin already taken, Infinity Ward has now taken inspiration from the concrete jungle, and this time an invisible mortar skin has been formed.

The BlackCell Battle Pass has long been a grievance of Modern Warfare 2 players, with the "cash grab" nature of it being labelled as the root of the current problems with inflated Call of Duty skin prices.
Now though, the Io operator BlackCell Skin has shown off a reactive look, with the cloaked figure often changing colour in accordance to its surroundings. When it's in a bright setting, the skin blends into the floor and walls.
One Redditor has now shared a clip and vented their frustration at the pay-to-win skin as they struggled to see the player in a Hardcore playlist where the usual red enemy icon is disabled.

The skin seemingly blended into the floor on Mercado Las Almas, which could continue to serve as a problem for Warzone players too, given that the snippet will likely feature in the upcoming battle royale map.
"I know I died to a skill-based issue but I shouldn't have to find a camouflaged enemy because they spent $30 for some character that looks like a ball of tin foil," the original poster said.
"I can tell that we’ll have to wait until the end of the season when Activision has made its money on this pay-to-win garbage for them to nerf this skin," someone else agreed. Another joked that BlackCell might employ a chameleon next to blend into all surfaces.
Infinity Ward has nerfed skins like this in the past, namely the LA Thieves CDL design, so only time will tell to see if this expensive look will be altered.
