One of the biggest points of complaints towards Modern Warfare 2 was that Infinity Ward completely ruined the movement by removing slide-cancelling and slowing down the overall pace of matches.

For a lot of long-time Call of Duty fans, these changes damaged the experience, as it felt like the game was built for casuals and had no skill gap.

In response, Sledgehammer Games has brought back these advanced movement mechanics for Modern Warfare 3. As expected, some competitors are already using every mobility trick in the book, sliding around the Beta in an unnatural fashion and using every possible technique to their advantage.

Well, casual CoD fans are getting extremely frustrated with these "sweats," arguing that movement "tryhards" are making the MW3 Beta "hell."

CoD fans slam movement "tryhards" for making MW3 Beta "hell"

Taking to the ModernWarfareIII subreddit, user Such-Try-3467 showcased a kill cam of an opponent sliding around the map at high speeds, clearly taking the match incredibly seriously.

This sparked a discussion about movement "tryhards," with countless fans arguing that they're completely ruining the MW3 Beta and the CoD franchise as a whole.

"Trying to play the MWIII beta is just a miserable experience... I hope all the pro gamers/wannabe content creators enjoy their abomination of a game," said one user, with another arguing, "These people ruin every game that has any type of competitiveness."

It's clear a lot of casual CoD fans are tired of "tryhards" ruining their fun in multiplayer and using movement mechanics to gain even more of an advantage. For them, facing these types of opponents in MW3 takes all the fun out of the game.

While casual CoD fans do blame the "tryhards" for how they play the game, the majority of the criticism is aimed towards the devs for catering MW3 towards them.

"I hate that the devs catered to the people who whined about movement and skill gaps... It just looks ridiculous," said one user, with another claiming, "Everyone wants to capture the magic of old cod yet call for insane speed movement....this was never a part of the magical CoDs."

While there's a clear divide over whether the movement skill gap is necessary for Call of Duty, MW3 is certainly leaning away from the casuals and more towards the hardcore fans.

We're not even at the full release yet, and there are already countless grumbles, so it'll be interesting to see whether Sledgehammer makes any changes later in MW3's life cycle.
