For all of the creativity and entertainment that the wacky crossovers provide for most Call of Duty fans, there's still a massive community that loves the nitty-gritty military looks.

After years of pumping out wild cartoon-like operators, Call of Duty (to no surprise) has taken steps to finally acknowledge this. On top of Black Ops 6's mil-sim-heavy approach, Modern Warfare 3 is dishing out some love to Task Force 141 and finally releasing those winter whites that we saw in the campaign.

However questionable it was as a whole, players saw a number of quite cool outfits for their favourite characters in the campaign. One was the winter whites, which were used as camouflage in the mission where Shepherd was rescued.

After months of asking, Modern Warfare 3 has finally released this look. The Arctic Ops bundle is now available in the store.

The bundle includes the snow-capped outfits for both Ghost and Soap, alongside some weapon blueprints themed around that arctic look.

MW3 fans hail "first good bundle"

Many fans have instantly praised this bundle, which is a great change of pace from the questionable Fallout crossover skins. Taking to Reddit, one fan said, "Great to see realistic skins."

Another fan said, "Yeah it's nice to see some actual military aesthetic in a game series that's supposed to be themed around military stuff." Others are now calling for more. "I want Farah. These look good, though I was hoping they would be on the next battle pass," added a third.

They might look good, but the price does seem steep for these skins. They come in at 2000 CP for one two-character bundle, but given that there are few bundles which come under that price threshold anymore, it might be the best we're going to get. Anyway, it's worth it just to get classic CoD back.
