Modern Warfare 3 players have already broken Search and Destroy with glitches

Modern Warfare 3 players who have already gained access to multiplayer have found a string of Search and destroy glitches.

Oh boy, that didn't take long.

Modern Warfare 3 is rolling out today but it still hasn't reached every country, and unless you've bought a ticket for an annual trip to New Zealand, you might be waiting a few more hours.

But those down-under are quickly getting to grips with the refreshed MW2 maps, and are already manipulating them to cheese Search and Destroy games.

Modern Warfare 3 fans already find Terminal Search and Destroy glitches

This might be a homage to the 2009 title, but Terminal appears to have glitches which allows you to get on top of the plane - or at least on the wings.

These glitches might be a nice touch when it comes to respawn games, where tactical insertions can be placed to maintain progress until you finally crack the exploit, but when you're grinding Search and Destroy, its a different matter.

Now, one player has already found that you can actually plant the bomb on the wing of the plane on Terminal, only accessible through glitches and parkour, and it will likely guarantee round wins for anyone savvy enough to pull it off.

This exploit is definitely, in the words of James "Clayster" Eubanks, "not an intended line of sight", and will likely be patched at some point, but if you're looking to get some practice in on the iconic map before the Terminal 24/7 playlist goes live, then you will have to be on guard to prevent anyone pulling this off.

Search and Destroy 'stretch slide' glitches have already been found in Modern Warfare 3

Not only can you begin planting bombs in unintended areas, players have already found that you can take advantage of the bomb sites by using slides.

Usually in SnD, you have to be up against the bomb site to either plant or defuse. However, players have found a "stretch slide" technique that has been patched in games gone by which allows you to slide away from the bomb while interacting with it, moving the detonator into an easier-to-watch location, or skirting behind cover if you're defusing.

With the length of the slide in Modern Warfare 3 being rather long too, you can actually move the detonator a good ten feet or so away from the site, which makes it much easier to control.

Given Sledgehammer might have their hands full with the MW3 launch, these exploits might not be at the top of the priority list to fix either, so only time will tell how long it takes for the devs to roll out a patch.
