Back in July, Activision shocked the Call of Duty community with a The Boys crossover that seemingly came out of nowhere.
Introducing Homelander, Starlight, and Black Noir as Operators, the event was an overwhelming success and received widespread praise.
Well, it appears superheroes aren't finished with the CoD universe and are looking to make another appearance.
According to leaks, another The Boys collaboration could be on the cards, but this time in Modern Warfare 3.
CoD leak reveals The Boys crossover event is coming to MW3
As showcased by popular Call of Duty account ModernWarzone, leaker MWIIINTEL has reported that MW3 will feature a "The Boys vs The Seven" event.
Unlike the last one, this will feature challenges for both Zombies and multiplayer, so it will cater to both fanbases.
At the moment, there are no details on the contents of the crossover, so it's hard to know if there's going to be a superhero-style LTM like last time.
There's also no release window just yet, but it's great news for The Boys fans who probably thought the last collab was a one-off.
MW3 fans are desperate for a Billy Butcher skin
The last The Boys event brought Homelander, Starlight, and Black Noir, but this time, players are praying Billy Butcher and Soldier Boy get a skin.
These two were left out of the last store bundles so it seems like an easy win for Activision to include them in a fresh event.
"Give me a Billy Butcher & Soldier Boy skin," said one user, with another claiming "Give us the Butcher,
I actually enjoyed the last The Boys event."
If the leaks are true, you can almost guarantee Butcher is definitely coming as an Operator, there's no way Activision would leave that much money on the table.
