MultiVersus is finally kicking back into gear, and fans couldn’t be happier about it.

The game's return alongside new fighters is proving that there's more to see and do, and if it can maintain its popularity as console players are finally let back into the title once again, there’s a chance that it can stick around long enough to be first fighting game to actually compete with Smash Bros.

And now, with some serious sleuthing, some fans have put together a graph to illustrate how many fighters we could see very soon - and it’s certainly an extensive list.

MultiVersus fans put together list of expected characters

Fans have been keeping a strict eye on everything that comes from camp MultiVersus when it comes to new fighters, and it has all come together in a hefty graph that details the number of characters that we could see come to the game.

A new Reddit post in the MultiVersus subreddit has chronicled the huge number of fighters that have been referenced over the years, either those who have leaked in one way or another hinted at in the recent relaunch trailer that introduced Jason and Agent Smith, and those who have been datamined from the game’s code.

The list is pretty huge, revealing that hints have been laid out for Scooby-Doo, Pickle Rick, Raven from the Teen Titans, and even Emmett from The LEGO Movie. It also features a number of characters that developers have hinted they could work on, like Death from The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy and the DOOM Guy.

Though we can’t expect every single character on the list to make it, there are some that are hugely rumoured - and some that definitely won’t make it. It’s perhaps for the best, as we don’t want to start thinking about what Big Chungus’ moveset would look like.
