The next wave of Call of Duty talent is coming through, as the old stalwarts that once dominated the pre-match Modern Warfare 2 lobbies have long grown up, and their kids have begun picking up the sticks.

Whether in casual lobbies, Ranked playlists, or even in the official Call of Duty League, where young rookies are breaking records, the young and fresh-faced phenoms are starting to cause a revolution. Now, the youngest of the bunch is making a stir on social media after showcasing some extraordinary talent

7-year-old Call of Duty prodigy hits the top 7% of players

Operating on Modern Warfare 2 Ranked, 7-year-old Call of Duty prodigy "JoDog" has gone viral for breaking into Diamond 3, which is the top 7% of players worldwide according to the distribution levels produced last season.

JoDog's recent 1v4 clutch with a sniper on Search and Destroy, Mercado Las Almas, drew attention to the player, as he showed great awareness and sharpshooting skills to outwit the entire enemy team.

"Most pros in the scene weren't this good at his age, but back then they were joining tourneys and local LAN events at early ages, but since CDL they changed it to 18+. Such a shame to think how much talent could be going unnoticed," his family said on Twitter.

Call of Duty prodigy receives Twitch ban

The young player plays controller, has his own YouTube channel, and streams on Twitch, although the latter has been called into question.

Due to his age, JoDog's Twitch account has now been banned, despite the official Twitch channel being named JoDogSquad to represent a full family account which his dad also uses.

However, Twitch's guidelines read, "If you are under 13 years of age, then please do not use or access the Twitch services at any time or in any manner."

Many fans have agreed that he shouldn't be able to stream, let alone play the 18+ game, but his family have confirmed that they will now look towards Facebook Gaming and Kick to allow him to continue streaming.

It's not the first time we've seen youngsters take over on Call of Duty, with "RowdyRogan" proving his worth during the FaZe Five trials in 2021.
