Introduced in Season 3 Reloaded of MW2 & Warzone 2, it didn't take long for the FTAC Siege to have a huge impact on the meta.

As the weapon is a pint-sized SMG in the form of a secondary, it means players don't have to run Overkill to equip a powerful close-range weapon. Now, the gun could be getting another upgrade in Season 4 - as players noticed an Operator in the trailer using them akimbo.

MW2 players are worried that a dual-wielding option for this secondary may make them ridiculously 'OP,' especially for aggressive players.

Taking to the ModernWarfareII subreddit, user Arhiman666 decided to create a thread showcasing an Operator from the Season 4 trailer using the FTAC Siege akimbo. This suggests the option to dual-wield the weapons will be coming at some point in the new season.

This sparked a huge response from the community, with a lot of users voicing their concerns about the potential power of the gun in multiplayer, as well as how it may be "ridiculously OP and super annoying to deal with."

One CoD fan even claimed that," Akimbo FTAC + Riot Shield meta is gonna be so fun to go against" and may become a common strategy in a lot of matches.

Overall, it's very clear that the community are 'scared' about this new addition and is extremely frustrated that "Activision insist on ruining everything with OP weapons."

When will FTAC Siege akimbo be available in MW2 & WZ2?

At the moment, the FTAC Siege akimbo has not been officially announced by the devs and has only appeared in one trailer.

It's possible the attachment becomes immediately available on June 14 when Season 4 goes live, but could also be a feature the devs implement at a later date.

We'll just have to wait and see, but it's clear there are a lot of concerns about how OP the FTAC Siege akimbo is going to be.
