The movement kids are here, and they're here to stay.

Modern Warfare 3 has been taken over by cracked movement mechanics, and just as bunny hopping gets a massive nerf and slide-cancelling gets a nasty delay, there are two new moves that are leaving the sentinel veterans in a puddle of their own making.

After a mere few days on Modern Warfare 3 Beta, the "frog" and "turn hop" have both been found and shared virally, and players are hopping mad.

Modern Warfare 3 Beta players develop the 'frog' movement mechanic

The dolphin dive has long been a movement mechanic that is extremely fun to pull off, ever since we first started it by launching ourselves down the Kino Der Toten stairs to complete the Ray Gun Easter Egg.

Building on the classic dolphin dive though, MW3 fans have found the "frog" jump, which involves diving around in different directions much akin to the way a toad leaps around your back garden.

Combining the auto tac sprint with the dolphin dive, players have found a busted way of doing these actions repeatedly, making it almost impossible to be shot thanks to the minimal aim assist in MW3.

The content creator and movement menace "Meishu" first created this movement, which can come in handy when they decide to stop mocking their foes and shoot back.

Modern Warfare 3 players bring back the 'turbn hop'

The frog movement isn't the only dolphin diva pack-a-punch that is trolling the Modern Warfare 3 beta either, as players have found the "turbn hop".

This involves leaping from huge buildings or mountainous terrain and landing belly-first on a small ledge, which instantly catapults players back to their feet with guns up ready to fire.

It was first found by Meishu in the Modern Warfare 2 Beta last year, but was soon nerfed, and brought back this year.

It's not yet known whether the mechanics will be nerfed again, or Sledgehammer will continue to lean into the advanced movement era by allowing them to stay.
