The label that Call of Duty multiplayer games are now just a "camo grinding simulator" is getting more relevant than ever before, as players continue to load into Shipment with Double Weapon XP tokens with the pure focus of getting the Mastery camos.

But, it's not very easy to track where you're up to on your challenges, is it?

Considering it is now one of the main motivations for players to get on Modern Warfare 3, how about a nice easy way to keep track of your challenges?

Fan-made MW3 camo-tracker is 'brilliant'

Instead of hopping in and out of each game to see whether you've done enough Tac Stance kills to have unlocked the Forged Camo, Reddit user "ygorhpr" has made a great concept which helps track camo challenges, and fans are dying to have it added to Modern Warfare 3.

Akin to the concept deployed by consoles to show Xbox Achievements and PlayStation Trophies progress, the Redditor has designed an overlay that keeps track of your active and prioritised challenges, available in the pause menu.

The example sees your five daily challenges appear in the bottom left of the pause menu followed by five camo challenges which you have activated. In the example, the Redditor has showcased the tracker following MCW kills, Hipfire kills, MCW Mimic kills (Zombies), and the Zombies mastery camo.

MW3 fans implore Sledgehammer Games add a camo tracker

The Redditor did confess that this isn't yet a working feature that he has modded onto his game, but rather a concept which could be deployed, and fans are rather gutted that it doesn't already work.

"This would be a brilliant add for them," one Redditor said.

Another added, "This is so needed. Also the dailies and weekly challenges too."

A further fan also claimed seeing this made them upset, thinking it was actually a real feature.

"Man, I scrolled over this and thought they added it into the game. Way to dash my hopes lol. It would be so nice for something like this in the game," they said.

This simple yet effective feature is now a must-have in Modern Warfare 3, and hopefully, Sledgehammer Games has its eyes fixed on Reddit too.
