While the Modern Warfare 3 Beta was an overwhelming success and received massive amounts of praise, there was one major criticism which was loudly voiced by players.

We're of course talking about the spawns, which managed to completely ruin game modes like Domination as it was impossible to defend your flags.

Well, some players have managed to get access to MW3 slightly earlier than expected and have been doing some testing.

The results have come back and it's great news for Domination fans. According to MW3 expert TheXclusiveAce, spawns look "much better" compared to the Beta and it's got the community excited.

MW3 spawns look "much better" after improvements from Beta

Taking to Twitter on November 8, Call of Duty content creator TheXclusiveAce revealed that "spawns have changed quite drastically in MWIII from the Beta based on some initial tests in local games."

From what they can see, the spawns can "handle much more pressure before flipping and seem to have a strong attachment to the Dom flags that your team holds."

This likely means that defending objectives is going to be significantly easier, so the mode will no longer feel unplayable with constant spawn flips.

Domination fans can also rejoice that there are "No more underground Highrise spawns for Dom," so you won't have to worry about challenging opponents from the worst possible position on the map.

CoD fans praise Sledgehammer for making "great moves" with changes

As mentioned by Ace, this testing has only been performed with bots so we'll have to wait and see how they work out in an actual live match.

However, it's certainly a positive pivot from the devs and shows they're paying attention to the needs of the community. Fans have recognised this, and are giving Sledgehammer the credit they deserve.

"Man SHG making some great moves since taking over, our MP experience is going to feel so much better."

If Sledgehammer can nail the launch of multiplayer and keep a good relationship with the fans, this could be a truly brilliant life cycle for MW3, so let's keep our fingers crossed.
