Weekend One of the Modern Warfare 3 Beta has finally come to a close and for a lot of players, Weekend Two couldn't come any sooner.

The feedback for the new CoD title has been incredibly positive, and with Sledgehammer vowing more improvements are on the cards, MW3 is definitely on the right track.

One piece of criticism the devs haven't responded to is the community's disappointment with the graphics and colour of the maps. In certain locations, players don't feel as if the MW3's appearance is as good as it should be for 2023.

Well, one MW3 fan has taken the matter into their own hands by re-colour shading the remastered Favela map, and it looks amazing.

Diving back onto the OG Favela from MW2 (2009) may be a nostalgic trip down memory lane, but for a lot of MW3 players, the appearance of the map just isn't up to scratch.

User TheHybred decided to prove that with a fresh set of colours, the remastered version could be completely transformed visually.

Showcasing their work on the ModernWarfareIII subreddit, they recolour graded MW3's Favela, and it's made a night and day difference.

All of the landmarks on the map are so much more defined, and even the lighting on the weapon seems to look significantly better.

As you would expect, MW3 players were extremely impressed with the recolour and couldn't believe how much better it looked compared to the Beta.

A lot of fans even went as far as to say that Sledgehammer should implement this themselves before the game's full release on November 10.

"Somebody please Tag a Sledgehammer Dev Here on this Post, that’s exactly my only complaint about The Beta: COLORS SATURATION," said one user, with another arguing, "You’re doing the Lord’s work OP, I hope someone at Sledgehammer Games can see how much better the game would look with more colour saturation."

We'll have to see whether the devs pay attention to this feedback and make substantial changes, but one thing is for sure, the community loves TheHybred's colour changes.
