It feels like in the current era of Call of Duty, what you look like in-game is almost just as important as your performance. The MW3 community are obsessed with skins and is always on the lookout for the best Operator appearances to show off in their matches.

As you would expect, the most exciting designs are often shown when a major update is scheduled to be released, and Season 2 has certainly been no different.

Sledgehammer Games has revealed multiple upcoming skin bundles that are in the pipeline, and it's safe to say they're not holding back on the eye-catching designs. While Mil-Sim fans are angry, other CoD players have praised them as "dope" and "wild."

CoD fans celebrate "dope" Season 2 skin designs

As showcased by the popular Call of Duty account CharlieINTEL, the devs are bringing some unbelievably elaborate skins in Season 2. These include Vivarium, Aberration, Evergreen Rhino, Resonance, Aether Storm, Demon Glo, and Full Kit Dragon.

As expected, a lot of fans have begun praising the "dope" designs, claiming they're good enough to immediately start handing over their wallet. "MW3 has been kind of going off for these bundles," said one user, with another saying "Looks like CoD getting my money again."

Expecting backlash from a portion of the community, some Call of Duty players fired shots at "realism losers" who they argue care way too much about the game staying true to its Mil-Sim roots. According to them, those who want military skins are clearly in the "minority."

Mil-Sim CoD players disagree & slam them as "stupid"

As predicted, Mil-Sim competitors did show up to voice their anger, slamming the skins as "stupid" and claiming CoD is turning more into Fortnite by the day.

"These bundles just keep getting worse, when did this become a sci-fi game," said one user, with another arguing, "Fortnite returns to Call of Duty for a second season, how ridiculous."

The ongoing war between wacky skin fans and Mil-Sim players continues, but the devs only appear to be catering to one side at the moment, and that doesn't look like it's going to change anytime soon.
