MW3 fans hate ‘ridiculous’ skin that makes Operators dance

Modern Warfare 3 fans are divided over a "ridiculous" anime bundle skin that makes Operators dance in-game.

Skins seem to print money for Activision in Call of Duty these days, and the devs only seem to be ramping up their designs in Modern Warfare 3.

From collaborations with mainstream celebrities to massive crossovers with TV shows like The Boys, CoD has truly left the Mil-Sim days behind.

Typically, the flashier the cosmetics, the better they seem to sell in the store. So, it was no surprise to learn another anime skin is on the cards.

This skin has completely divided the MW3 community, with some slamming it as "ridiculous" and others being desperate to buy the "fire" cosmetic as soon as possible.

MW3 players celebrate "fire" anime skin bundle

As showcased by popular Call of Duty account CharlieINTEL, a leak from B23 has revealed a first look at the new anime bundle coming to MW3.

The purple outfit comes equipped with a cat ear helmet, as well as a suit fit with red detailing. If that wasn't enough, the blueprints that come in the bundle featured a special interact animation that makes your Operator dance and pulls up a screen of an anime character.

As you would expect, a lot of players absolutely love the design and have made it clear they're "Buying this as soon as it releases." "They know my weakness, time to download Warzone," joked one user, with another claiming, "I will absolutely be buying it, what a step up from the already-amazing Vanguard bundle."

Other MW3 fans hate "ridiculous" anime skins ruining their "military game"

Scrapyard MW3

As is the case with all flashy skins in MW3, some members of the community have voiced their distaste for anime skin, and even reminisced on a time when CoD wasn't "Fortnite."

"This used to be a military fps game… I miss the old days," said one user, with another arguing, "Wow this game is so trash." While OG fans may dislike the direction Call of Duty is heading, there are a lot of players who love the collabs and wacky crossovers. As long as that continues, the Mil-Sim CoD days will remain in the past.
