The biggest criticism towards cosmetics in Call of Duty over recent years has been their tendency to stray away from the Mil-Sim aesthetic.
This is especially true in MW3, with Activision fully embracing the wacky and high-profile collaborations in a bid to create skins that are as popular as possible.
It's not very often that a blueprint or Operator in CoD is accused of being "ugly," but in Season 2, one particular weapon skin has left players scratching their heads over who approved it.
MW3's Incision blueprint declared CoD's ugliest skin
Taking to the ModernWarfareIII subreddit, user SuperDevyn shared that, in their opinion, the Incision cosmetic is the most ugly and "disturbing" gun blueprint they've ever seen.
The skin-like appearance features red veins, and there's no denying its phallic design. At least this has entertained a few CoD fans in the thread.
"Oh, there's no way they didn't know what they were doing," said one user, with another arguing "They had to know, they called it the f**king incision, whoever designed this was giggling nonstop wondering if it would go through."
Described as "awful" and "horrible" to look at - a large portion of the community wishes they never had to lay eyes on the Season 2 skin. There are a few that are keen to unlock it, though, so if you fall into that category, we've got you covered.
How do you unlock the Incision Renetti skin in MW3?
If you want to unlock the Incision blueprint in Warzone and Modern Warfare 3, you'll need to reach section B9 of the Season 2 Battle Pass.
This shouldn't take long, and while the strange Renetti skin isn't for everyone in Call of Duty, we're sure there are a few fans out there who would consider using it in multiplayer. For the majority of players, this is a bizarre skin they'll be avoiding like the plague.
