Isn't it nice to be listened to?
For what seems like the first time in Call of Duty history, the developers have opened their ears to the community and have actively taken steps to mould the game that they designed towards what players would enjoy.
Now, after already implementing a bunch of fan-requested features early on in Modern Warfare 3, Sledgehammer Games has rolled out a new weapon challenge tracker system that has come specifically from Reddit.
Sledgehammer Games adds a new weapon challenge tracker system to MW3
Given that weapon challenges have become a massive part of Call of Duty culture in recent years, one Reddit fan recently requested a feature that would allow us to keep track of our progress.
Funnily enough, two months later, Sledgehammer Games has given us just that.
As part of the Modern Warfare 3 Season 2 Reloaded update, players can now select five challenges that they want to keep tabs on which will show up in the in-game pause menu, allowing you to see how far you are down the line of achieving your desired camo or Armory Unlock.
MW3 fans hail new tracker system
Straight off the bat, this new feature has been well-received by fans, who are joyous over anything that makes life all that easier.
"One of the best additions of the year so far!" said one fan on Twitter.
A second fan agreed, adding, "Thank you so much! Zombie camos are gonna be so much easier to wrap up."
So, whether you are grinding for the new unlockable weapons, or still edging towards that Orion mastery, this new feature will mean no time needs to be wasted finishing games to check your progress, and you can continue slaying away and getting the most out of your limited gaming hours.
