Vanguard isn't considered the golden era of the Call of Duty franchise, far from it, actually - with some players calling it out as one of the worst games in the series.

While not everyone has that opinion about multiplayer, the campaign didn't quite hit the mark, and the less said about the Zombies mode, the better.

However, not everything from Vanguard was a failure, with certain maps becoming beloved by the community. According to a leak, one particular fan-favourite may actually be coming to MW3, and fans are over the moon.

Leak reveals Vanguard's Das Haus map may be coming to MW3

Taking to Twitter on January 17, popular Call of Duty account CharlieINTEL revealed that leaker SemtexLeaks had found game files that indicate that Das Haus is coming to MW3.

The extremely small location was a fan-favourite in Vanguard because it was effectively a mini-replicated version of the White House that special forces were using to prepare for an invasion.

With tight corners and enclosed spaces, Das Haus is absolute chaos and perfect for anyone looking to go on a killing spree. It'll be interesting to see whether it gets a makeover if it arrives in MW3, or if the devs will port it straight over.

MW3 fans claim this is the "best news since this game was announced"

MW3 Das Haus

Modern Warfare 3 so far has been a time machine for long-time CoD fans with the remastered MW2 (2009) maps, and it looks like Sledgehammer wants to continue that trend. While some deem it "lazy," others are just excited to revisit these locations and are loving the trip down memory lane.

"Now this may be the greatest thing ever said," said one excited user, with another claiming, "Probably the best original small map since OG nuke town." For now, there's no indication of when Das Haus will arrive, but it's clear the community are pumped to revisit the classic WW2 location.
