'Tis the season for pain, apparently, as Modern Warfare 3's newest finishing move is not a good gift for the sack.

With all the new jolly fat men with white beards cutting around Warzone and Modern Warfare 3 at the moment, it’s easy to tune your guns to the rhythm of the jingles.

Here comes Santa Claus, here comes Santa Claus, here comes Santa Claus, team wipe.

But if you do get distracted by flying reindeer or pigs in blankets, Father Christmas has quite a helping hand that will make you regret not paying attention, and it’ll make your baubles squirm.

MW3 fans love the new Christmas finisher move

Although the Christmas spirit has been dampened by a somewhat mediocre list of gifts for Santa’s Slayground event, there’s one present worth unwrapping.

Santa's Right Hand is a finishing move which enrols the help of a small elf, whose deadly jock-slap is one to fear for those operators with a third leg.

The finishing move sees the elf jump and punch a player's cojones or flowerparts, with a blow so hard that it sends you straight to Gulag.

And it's safe to say fans love it.

"Ok, I need to stay away from that execution as I would do nothing all game but try and get everyone with it!" one fan said on Reddit.

Another added, "Has me dying, definitely running this now along with the pimp slap."

How to unlock Santa's Right-Hand finisher in MW3

If you're looking to get your hands on this brutal present to round off your Santa's sack - and everyone else's - here's how:

All you need to do is complete one of these three challenges.

  • Get 5 Operator Kills while Sliding or Crouching (MW3)
  • Get 50 Kills with Stamin-Up Active (Zombies)
  • In Slay Ride Resurgence, place in the top five 15 times.

So, if you do anything on Call of Duty over this Christmas period, let's make sure it's a good old-fashioned nutcracker...
