As far as cosmetics go in Call of Duty, there's not really much that hasn't been done. At this point in Modern Warfare 3, we're that padded out on skins that the developers are cycling through Zoo Tycoon to see what animals are left to reanimate.
Yet, the new Operators and blueprints continue to roll out through the Battlepass, the store, and in-game challenges.
The latter usually doesn't give out the most elite cosmetics, but as MW Zombies comes to a close, players can actually unlock the "best blueprint ever" for free.
Call of Duty's "best-looking blueprint ever" arrives in MW3
Modern Warfare 3 Zombies is officially done. The storyline that started with the deaths of the upcoming Black Ops 6 cast, including Weaver, and carried on through the Urzikstan excursions, has ended in Season 5 Reloaded.
The MWZ climax saw a brand-new boss antagonist storm in from the dark aether universe with an almost armageddon effect, leaving players the chance to complete an Easter egg quest by going head-to-head with this deity.
Completing this Easter egg grants the "Infinite Cosmos" blueprint, and fans have been blown away.
Very much coming with a similar vibe to the old Interstellar camo, the new Tracer Blueprint sees a galaxy spinning through the gun's body, appearing like you have the whole universe in the palm of your hand.
"Easily one of the best looking blueprints EVER. Very impressive," said Zombies guru Jon "MrDalekJD" Hutchinson.
"That blueprint is awesome," a second player added.
Other fans seem to struggling to fathom that this isn't part of an expensive bundle.
"You know how cool that cammo would be if we could earn that instead of dropping 20-something dollars for it," said one confused fan in a popular comment, echoing the thoughts of hundreds of like-minded posts.
All it takes to rock this blueprint is to defeat the final quest of Modern Warfare 3 Zombies - sounds easy, right? Good luck...
