When you think of iconic Call of Duty modes, Team Deathmatch, Search & Destroy, and Free-For-All all come to mind.

However, for a lot of fans, Domination sits above the rest on a tier of its own. It's simply because of how satisfying it is to control areas of the map and defend the objectives from foes.

Heading back onto the remastered MW2 (2009) locations, the CoD community was unbelievably excited to play Domination on Highrise, Estate, and (of course), Favela.

Unfortunately, the legendary mode has been slammed as "unplayable" due to one serious concern in Modern Warfare 3

MW3 fans hate "unplayable" Domination due to poor spawns

Domination has been slammed as "unplayable" by Lexikz772 on the ModernWarfareIII subreddit, with the primary problem, in their opinion, being the terrible spawns.

"Map control is basically impossible to get, it is close to impossible to defend your flags, especially A and C because the enemy will just spawn on your base flag and vice versa."

A lot of users in the thread agree, arguing MW3 Domination is just "TDM with flags around," and without better spawns, there's almost no point looking to capture the objectives.

Some fans think these random spawns are "definitely a design decision to favour casual players." For them, spawning players on the other side of the map is to prevent trapping, effectively making it impossible to fully pindown an opposing team.

Highrise nominated as "worst" Domination map in MW3

MW3 Highrise

While Highrise is without a doubt one of the most beloved maps in Call of Duty history, it's sitting at the bottom of the tier list when it comes to Domination in MW3.

"Highrise, a map with legendary status plays absolutely awful because of it," said one user, with another arguing "Highrise in particular has some pretty horrendous spawns."

It's clear fans are not satisfied with the current spawns in MW3 and feel as if they make it impossible to secure objectives for long periods of time.

With players getting moved to random parts of the map after being eliminated, they can attack at all angles simultaneously in Domination, taking all of the skill out of the mode in the eyes of the community.
