While Modern Warfare 3 has already brought together Zombies and Warzone, they're staying in the habit of combining the core Call of Duty game modes, as the undead are infesting multiplayer, too.
In a The Last of Us-like fashion, fungi and mushrooms have sprouted in Modern Warfare 3 and turned three maps into a living nightmare.
But if you think you can tackle this spine-chilling new remaster, Vortex, you'll have to pay attention to who has the Ray Gun. That might be pretty hard, especially considering there's a new duplication glitch.
MW3 Vortex has an unlimited Ray Gun glitch
Vortex is a game mode where only one player can have the Ray Gun at any given time, and it's pretty difficult to get hold of because you need to work through the free-for-all spawns to eliminate the holder of the Wonderweapon...then master how to utilise its splash damage.
But, there's a glitch that has surfaced where you can actually continue spawning in with the Ray Gun.
Popular leaker "el_bobberto" revealed on Twitter that you can have unlimited Ray Gun usage once you get control of it for the first time, letting you keep it after you die.
How to do the Ray Gun glitch
Unlike previous Ray Gun glitches, this doesn't mean throwing flash grenades into the Random Box or whatever other placebos you believed in Zombies. Instead, if you are the first person in the game to have the Ray Gun (randomly predetermined), you will be able to equip it to your create a class for the rest of the game.
If you're the starting Ray Gun holder, you can edit one of your loadouts in the menu before dying. You'll then be able to continue spawning in with the gun every time you perish.
Thankfully, the Ray Gun is actually pretty difficult to use in multiplayer, it's much easier when Zombies don't shoot back, meaning it's not too much of an advantage. Still, this is a fun glitch if you get lucky enough.
