NBA 2K25 is really upping the ante when it comes to remaking history, as MyCareer has already been revealed to be taking us on a trip down memory lane. With each dynasty as a stop on this bus ride, 2K is making MyGM equally as nostalgic.

Casting minds back to another great era, you undertake a role as an underdog to take down Steph Curry's Golden State Warriors or champion them to even more success. All of this comes while you, the GM, get your own backstory as a living legend.

NBA 2K25 MyGM gives new personality traits with backstory building

With MyGM, you will now be able to add a whole new backstory to your General Manager, allowing them to become much more personal to you.

Whether it be an ex-player who understands the most minute details on the court or a financial wizard getting the best players on the court for easy-to-handle fees, there are now plenty of different ways to build your own character.

You'll also have more freedom to explore different coaching styles, unlocking different conversation options depending on whether you prefer offence or defence, business or charisma, and medicine or analytics, as per the latest Courtside Report.

NBA 2K25 relives the Curry Era with new MyGM story

In MyNBA, you've already been able to revisit the past with some extraordinary eras. The Magic vs. Bird Era, Jordan Era, Kobe Era, and LeBron Era all return on new-gen consoles this year, alongside a new story.

The reckoning of Steph Curry is the next story to be told, as GMs will be able to take charge of the Golden State Warriors of 2016. MyGM and MyNBA is really being ramped up this year with even more competitions, leaderboards, and attributes to play with as you become the next mastermind behind an NBA legacy.
