The point of MyCAREER has always been to build a player who can take over the world and become the best of the best. Now, you really can weigh up your achievements against the GOATs of basketball.

The Heart of a Dynasty story will see you follow a player's foundations through High School and a fast track to the NBA's biggest stage. It's all as you are challenged to make a career better than Michael Jordan's Chicago Bulls and the '80s Showtime Lakers.

The Dynasty Rankings will see you literally move up the history books as you are compared to the Harlem Shakers and other teams considered to be the greatest of all time.

MyCAREER will also get the Key Games feature back, with significant upgrades, to give players more choice and control over their professional progression.

"MyPLAYER is the start of every journey and in NBA 2K25 we’ve added more ways for players to craft their legacy in a tailored and authentic way as they chase the win," VP of NBA Development at Visual Concepts Erick Boenisch said.

NBA 2K25 will also be getting a brand-new "Takeover System". As players excel on the court, they'll heat up to red-hot form. Players will have a Takeover Meter that fills up gradually through five levels, giving you additional boosts at each tier. T

here are 72 Takeover abilities to choose from and 14 Signature moves, all of which will give you more freedom to express your playstyle. So, if you fancy your MyPlayer to have a better legacy than MJ, NBA 2K25 will truly test your skills.
